RUMMY WEEKEND SIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (because Five was last year). Both California guys are back from the West Coast and ready to tear it up, KENNARDVILLE STYLE! That includes anything from desecrating the Rummy Table, to quitting the game to listen to Dancing Queen, or getting blounted with aces in your hand. It’s bound to be an exciting weekend, and I’m guaranteeing more than two live updates this year. We’ve got literally everything we need, from the annual Diet Coke and Mentos Experiment, three cases of Yuengling, three cakes, creme horns, pizza from OHOP and punch-top Miller Lites! Party on Wayne!

LET THE FAILS BEGIN! Larry just tried to go out on a Rummy! card, and got crowned as the first failure of the weekend. Under new FAIL HAT rules, the hat can change hands on any failure, major and minor. Exceptions include situations where you have to throw a Rummy! card, or when it was simply the right move.

And that’s it! First night of RW6 is in the books. Ben has the early lead, with Bill and Larry following close behind. We tapped the Entenmann’s cake, and the Creme Horns were annihilated. Camp pizza is up tomorrow. We lost a lot of good food out there today. Night!

Bill earns his first FAIL HAT of the weekend for trying to go out on a Rummy! card, and it was an ace too! But before the ink dried on his digital picture, Larry earned the FAIL HAT back by dealing out consecutive hands of 8 cards. FAIL! Ben and Bill are in a tie for 1st, with 3,110 points. Larry is in 3rd with 2,820. Ben also got SCHNEIDERED for the first time this weekend, almost earning himself a failure

After stopping for a ShootyCaps ShootOff, we have updated standings. Larry is still in the lead with 3, Ben has 2, and Bill has 1. Bill has taken a slight lead in the game over Ben. And a bug has flown in Larry’s mouth. Exciting times!

And that’s the end of Rummy Weekend Six! Ben takes this year’s tournament with a dominating performance. Larry led the league in fails, but also led in fun percentage as well. All in all, it was a most triumphant year for Rummy, and we’re 3,000 points closer to 2 Million. And done with eating pizza for weeks.
